Barron said three people were hurt and two had been released from hospitals as of Monday afternoon. Buses were expected to continue shuttling passengers between the River Trail and Central Pointe stations through Sunday night, the Utah Transit Authority said.

Barron says they should know details of the incident by Wednesday. “There’s an on-board data recorder on that train, so we need to pull that off; download that information and that should tell us what happened”, says Barron.
The last time a train derailed it was because a auto burst through barrier arms and collided with it in January.
