Jon Buscemi’s beautiful new Los Angeles home has it all.
The 3,300-square-foot Spanish villa in the neighborhood of Los Feliz features beamed ceilings, stained glass windows, perfectly manicured grounds, and a view of downtown LA from the master suite balcony.
Buscemi, a former Wall Streeter turned apparel and shoe designer, recently purchased the home for $ 2.86 million, the Los Angeles Times first reported. Buscemi joins the ranks of a few other famous names with his purchase: actresses Olivia Wilde and Natalie Portman have at different times lived in the house, as well as singer Joe Jonas and Oscar-winning puppeteer Brian Henson.
Compass agent Ryan Sarkissian represented both the buyer and the seller. Let’s get an inside look into Buscemi’s new digs.
The tri-level home was built in 1929 and still maintains some Roaring Twenties elegance and flair.
The house’s interior decor is accented by exposed beams and custom ironwork throughout.
Stained glass windows and colorful rugs bring life to the rustic furniture.
Chic sitting areas are tucked into the alcoves.
The hip kitchen fits seamlessly into the theme of the house, while also offering the latest appliances.
This cozy table area is perfect for romantic dinners, and also boasts views of downtown LA if you look closely.
Seating spaces are tucked into nooks and crannies, making use of curved walls.
Interior windows and terraces connect spaces creatively.
The four bedrooms are simple and refreshing.
The house’s 3.5 bathrooms combine modern fixtures with bold colors and patterns.
The outside of Buscemi’s new abode features beautiful landscape details, trendy gathering spaces, and vivid colors.
Balconies of all shapes and sizes make it easy to take advantage of the fabulous California weather.
This waterfall spa is just one of the house’s impressive outdoor amenities — others include terraced gardens and a gazebo.
Patio areas allow residents to flow easily from indoors to outdoors, and are outfitted with original Malibu tile.
But the house’s best outdoor feature is the view: downtown LA is visible from the master suite balcony, and contrasts with the lush green of the surrounding flora.
Unique features like this tiled window make the house one-of-a-kind …
… but this view steals the show, day or night.
